Inside the old Coventry Cathedral

The shell of the old cathedral is open to the public and the tower at the west end survived the fire bombs of that November 1940 attack.

Coventry is twinned with Dresden - for obvious reasons - and Dresden's (fairly small) Frauenkirche cathedral was rebuilt in 2005 after the two Germanys were reunited.
